This contrast gives the bronze sculpture its emotional charge: submission and resistance, exhaustion and resolve, are held in the same pose without forcing a single interpretation.<\/p>\n<p>Rather than simplifying every feature, the abstract figure sculpture shifts selectively between anatomical definition and obscured identity. Musculature, joints, and individual feathers remain sharply modeled, while the faceless head keeps the figure universal. Lost-wax casting preserves these transitions, and heat patination settles into the recessed textures.
