	Details des Prozesses Ein 1:1-Modell in ABS-Kunststoff wird mithilfe der 3D-Druck-Technologie hergestellt. Für die Oberfläche der Skulptur werden 304er Edelstahlbleche mit einer Dicke von 2,0 mm markiert und nach dem Modell geschnitten; das Metall wird manuell geschmiedet – mit etwa 3.000 Hammerstößen pro Quadratmeter –, um die gewünschte Krümmung zu erreichen; anschließend werden die Teile nahtlos verschweißt. Flache Stahlbauteile werden mithilfe von in der Rhino-Software erstellten Mustern mittels Laserstrahlen geschnitten und anschließend zusammengebaut. Die anschließende Phase ist die polierende Glanzveredelung: Schweißnähte und Schmiedemarken werden zunächst mit einem Schleifpapier mit einer Körnung von 80 Schichten abgeschliffen, anschließend erfolgt eine progressive Glättung mit Schleifpapier mit Körnungen von 80, 120, 320 und 600 Schichten. Schließlich wird das Stück in eine Vakuumversiegelungskammer eingebracht, wo die ausgewählte Farbe über einen 90-minütigen Zyklus aufgebracht wird, was zu einem dauerhaften, langlebigen Finish führt.
