Pour obtenir un fini bross\u00e9, la sculpture est soumise \u00e0 un premier traitement de pon\u00e7age (grain 80) pour \u00e9liminer les coutures de soudure et les marques de for\u00e7age, puis \u00e0 un pon\u00e7age s\u00e9quentiel \u00e0 l\u2019aide d\u2019abrasifs de grain 80, 120 et 320 pour assurer une surface parfaitement lisse. Enfin, un disque de fil est utilis\u00e9 pour appliquer une texture bross\u00e9e qui suit les contours de la sculpture (un processus exigeant une comp\u00e9tence et une technique exceptionnelles).
