Le processus de finition consiste d\u2019abord \u00e0 \u00e9liminer les coutures de soudure et les marques de for\u00e7age par l\u2019utilisation d\u2019abrasifs de grain 80, puis \u00e0 poncer progressivement avec des poudres de grain 120 \u00e0 320 afin d\u2019obtenir une surface lisse et uniforme. La s\u00e9quence de rev\u00eatement est la suivante : premi\u00e8rement, une couche de primer riche en zinc \u00e9poxy ; deuxi\u00e8mement, application d\u2019un liant de carrosserie automobile \u00e0 haute temp\u00e9rature (masse) polie \u00e0 l\u2019aide de papier abrasif de grain 400 ; troisi\u00e8mement, une autre couche de primer riche en zinc \u00e9poxy ; quatri\u00e8mement, application d\u2019une couche de peinture color\u00e9e \u00e0 deux composants ; et cinqui\u00e8mement, finition protectrice en vernis ou en \u00e9poxy.
