プロセス詳細

  • ABS樹脂製の1:1スケールのモデルは3Dプリント技術を用いて製造されています。表面は3.0mm厚の304ステンレス鋼板をマーキング加工して切断し、その後鍛造することで得られるもので、これによって所望の曲率が達成されます。その後、シームレスな溶接と仕上げ工程を経て、平鋼板が形成されます。フラットな鋼板はRhinoソフトウェアで生成されたパターンに基づいてレーザーカットされ、その後組み立てられます。ブラシ仕上げのため、彫刻は初期研磨工程（80グリット）を経て、溶接継ぎ目や鍛造痕を平滑化し、その後80、120、320グリットの砥石を用いて連続的に研磨することで完全に平滑な表面を実現します。最後に、ワイヤー描画ホイールを使用して、彫刻の輪郭に沿ったブラシ状の質感を与える（このプロセスには卓越したスキルと技術が必要）。電流を通された正方形の鋼管は、風や地震に対する耐性を強化するために彫刻のサイズに合わせて内部に取り付けられ、すべての溶接継ぎ目は防錆処理を受けています。.
