Het afwerkproces begint met het afwerken van lasnaden en smederijsporen met schuurpapier van 80 grit, gevolgd door progressieve schuurwerk met schuurpapier van 120 tot 320 grit om een gladde, gelijkmatige oppervlakte te bereiken. De coatingprocedure is als volgt: eerst een epoxyzinkrijke primer; vervolgens de aanbreng van een hoogwaardige automotive bodyfiller (putty) met een dikte van 2,0 mm; vervolgens een tweede laag epoxyzinkrijke primer; vervolgens een tweecomponentenkleurige topcoat; en ten slotte een beschermende glaze\/sealer.
