Abstract metal sculpture can make emptiness as expressive as solid form. This mirror-polished stainless steel work rises from a narrow base and opens into a broad, asymmetrical bowl, its two sweeping sides framing a deep central void. Rather than carrying a fixed color of its own, the outdoor sculpture gathers fragments of sky, architecture, planting, and passing light across its curved skin.

Every reflection bends with the surface, so the composition never appears quite the same twice. The abstract metal sculpture feels grounded at its base yet expansive along its lifted edges, creating a quiet tension between containment and release. 	تفاصيل العملية A 1:1 scale model made of ABS plastic is produced using 3D printing technology. For the sculpture’s surface, 2.0mm-thick 304 stainless steel sheets are marked and cut based on the model; the metal undergoes manual forging—involving approximately 3,000 hammer strikes per square meter—to achieve the desired curvature, followed by seamless welding of the sections. Flat steel components are laser-cut using patterns generated in Rhino software and then assembled. The subsequent stage is mirror-finish polishing: weld seams and forging marks are first ground down with 80-grit sandpaper, followed by progressive smoothing using 80, 120, 320, and 600-grit sandpaper. Finally, the piece is placed in a vacuum plating chamber where the selected color is applied over a 90-minute cycle, resulting in a durable, long-lasting finish.
