This floor sculpture is shaped as a continuous visual movement rather than a fixed geometric symbol. The outer band rises, folds inward, and circles around an open center, while the inner curve passes through that space at a contrasting angle. Their changing relationship makes the form appear different from the front, side, and diagonal views.

The minimalist sculpture relies on proportion instead of ornament. Broad metal surfaces establish visual weight, while the openings preserve lightness and frame fragments of trees, sky, and architecture. The narrow base concentrates the composition and makes the upper loops appear to balance above the ground.

	Détails du processus Fabrication of the floor sculpture begins with an approved digital model and a 1:1 ABS master used to verify loop radii, clearances, center of gravity, and the base interface. Rhino-developed patterns are transferred to 3.0 mm 304 stainless steel plate, laser-cut, numbered, hand-formed, and welded into the continuous bands. Particular control is required where the inner and outer loops approach each other so the gap remains consistent. Weld seams and forming marks are progressively refined with 80-, 120-, and 320-grit abrasives. A wire-drawing wheel then applies a directional brushed finish that follows each curve. A galvanized square-tube framework reinforces the interior, and all structural welds receive corrosion protection. Before the floor sculpture is released, alignment, surface consistency, and base connections are inspected.
