The sculpture begins as a full-scale model and is translated through lost-wax casting, preserving the tapered profiles and softly modeled transitions of each bird. Controlled heat patination builds tonal variation rather than flat color, while a protective sealer stabilizes the surface. Across the bronze sculpture, differences in height, angle, and negative space establish rhythm without sacrificing the group’s quiet unity.

	Process Details The process begins with creating a 1:1 scale model—either via 3D printing in ABS or by hand-sculpting in clay—followed by casting in brass using the lost-wax method to achieve a wall thickness of 5mm. The surface is sanded (using 80- to 120-grit paper) and finished with a heat-patination process that employs specific chemical combinations to achieve the desired colors; a protective glaze coating is then applied. The resulting product exudes elegance and nobility, offering a visually pleasing aesthetic.
