The silver exterior is progressively sanded and finished with a wire-drawing wheel to create a consistent brushed grain. The colored inner bands are masked, degreased, lightly abraded, and coated with a two-component epoxy primer before outdoor-grade acrylic polyurethane paint is sprayed in separate color layers.
